DISCOVER FOREST BATHING

Forest bathing is a practice of slowing down and connecting with nature through the senses. Inspired by the Japanese method of shinrin-yoku—introduced in the 1980s as a public health initiative—it offers a gentle yet powerful way to find calm.

LugnLed’s forest bathing sessions offer a series of optional invitations designed to deepen your connection with nature, yourself, and others.

Research continues to affirm the many benefits of time in nature, including strengthened immunity, lower blood pressure, reduced stress, enhanced focus, and improved sleep.

Explore the science behind these benefits at

UCLA Health or The Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs

What to Expect

  • Forest bathing lasts 2 to 2½ hours and covers less than half a mile on gentle terrain

  • It's not a hike or a naturalist-led walk

  • You'll be invited to slow down and engage your senses; sharing is welcome but always optional

  • Your guide holds space and supports the experience without directing or interpreting

  • Expect a calm, unhurried atmosphere with space for both connection and quiet reflection

  • Dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and you’ll receive additional tips to prepare in advance

  • Every walk is unique—shaped by the land, the weather, and the people present
